Friday night at 'home'

Friday night was fun... I got to hang out with both of my boys!

When we got home from work, Miles and I played a little hide and seek. I fed him and bathed him a little earlier than normal since he only got one nap at daycare. That's usually a recipe for disaster.

After the bath time, we took Cooper out to do his natural duty. With Miles just getting out of the bath, we had to bundle him up to protect his damp head from the 50 degree evening. (BTW-the hat was a gift from a coworker when Miles was born....)

Miles and Cooper had a little play time too. Miles still likes to pretend that he's a dog. His new favorite place - Cooper's Pen. I think he likes all of the noise that it makes the best. Miles gets right in there, closes th door , and tugs/pounds on the walls.  Cooper went in there too - most likely to defend and protect his territory. When Cooper got bored, he left the cage and went to get a drink. Miles crawled after him, waited his turn, and then crawled up to the water bowl and began to lower his head as if to get a drink too. That's where I stepped in. I caught him right before his mouth his the water!! I gave him his own cup of water instead. Ahh.... that little guy!!

Nate got home around 7:40pm. He and Miles had about 20 minutes of play time. Nate took the responsiblity of putting Miles to bed (which is getting really easy now) and then joined me for a fresh-from-the-oven frozen pizza.  We opened up a UPS package that arrived- It was Nate's bargins from the clearance section at Buckle online.  He got jeans that actually fit, a spring weight jacket (kinda shiny) and a black, deep V-neck shirt (organic bamboo).  Overall, they looked pretty good on him. The deep V is very, very questionable.

 It was a date! We watched Numb3rs and headed to bed a little early. It was a great ending to a really long week!
