Last night, while tucking Miles into bed, we told him that he needed to “go to sleep right away – tomorrow is daddy’s birthday!” Miles replied, “Yeah, Santa and Jesus will bring you presents!”

Fast forward to today…….

6am – Miles strolls into our room, plops on top of Nate and yells “Trick or Treat, Dad!”  We’re pretty sure he meant “Happy Birthday!”  It’s the thought that counts right?!

Miles shaved with Nate and mimicked him all morning long. Nate must have felt super special!!

Nate is 31. 31 is synonymous with adult. Adults get gifts like books. Want proof?

For dinner, we enjoyed some wild mushroom ravioli and steamed broccoli…
