Miles finally had his check-up! He was less than impressed with the idea of seeing the doctor. Thats why I held that information from him until he entered the office. Miles hates shots, like I'd imagine most kids do.
All he got was a flu shot.... And he did alright. He settled down soon after due to my cleverly concocted scheme! Immediately following the appointment, there was the promise of shopping at Target for a matchbox car of his choosing! Is it wrong to bribe my son? Probably. But I did it anyway. It removed the pain and angst instantly.
So, the stats.....
Miles was 40 inches tall (99%) and 34lbs (70%).
40 inches sounds huge. I've decided to say that he's 3'6" instead. That sounds more appropriate for his age.
He grew quite a bit since last year.
37 inches tall (96%)
29.0 lbs (62%)
Here's some evidence:
Last year, Miles was nearly the same height as Grandma B's Santa. Miles was a little taller - but the difference is nothing close to this year.

And you wonder why I cannot figure out how to buy clothes on clearence. I cannot predict Miles' size in the same season for the following year.
Miles is currently wearing boys clothes - as opposed to toddler clothes! What were you thinking?!?!
He's wearing a boys size 4 or xs, but he's only 3 years old!
He's growing up and maturing way too fast. I'm just doing my best to keep up and savor every minute!

Our boys are the same size!!! I'm now buying size 5 jeans (as long as there is an adjustable waist). It seems to make more sense to get them a bit longer at the rate my child is growing :P
