Easter 2010

First of all… Happy Easter to all!  Second, celebrating Easter without a large gathering of family just seems weird.  So, how did we spend our day?  I’m glad that you asked.  I will tell you!

We started with a mini, indoor egg hunt.

Yes… Miles is collecting his eggs in a pumpkin.  Space is still an issue.  Where would I store a basket… Really?!

12 eggs and 3 basketballs, all filled with candy…

Then, Dad and Miles enjoyed a little story time.

We went to church, skyped with all the Gma’s, Gpa’s, and the aunts or uncles that surrounded them.

We had ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch – about as close as we got to a traditional Easter ham!

Then.. we headed north and west for a hike at Bear Mountain.  We chose not to take any pictures this time around.  The hike and the outdoor time were great, but the scenery was still pretty barren.

Here are a couple pretty pictures from our visit last fall!

After the hike, we came home to relax!! We grilled pork chops for dinner, watched Madagascar 2, and settled into our Sunday night routines: Miles is in bed, Nate’s making up time on his studio project from home, and I’m blogging away and doing the laundry!
