Mr. Potato head

I realize that I'm probably a minority with regard to my late in life understanding of Mr. Potato head.

Yes, he's a classic toy, and yes, I truely believe every child should have one! However, it wasn't until this morning, watching Miles play with the potato that I realized it was a clever, little educational toy! How lovely!!

Miles loves naming the facial features and sticking them on the potato's face (and his own). Miles really knows his stuff!! We are going to have to rely on his academics to get him into college. His coordination is lacking, still! This picture doesn't do the injury justice, but it will have to do.



Miles smacked his face on the pavement outside at daycare while trying to get off a toy car too quickly. I was told the bloody lip was impressive-based on the day old fat lip, I'd have to agree that it probably was.....

He's tough, but the poor guy wimpered with each goldfish cracker he ate on the way home. Salted wounds! Ouch! But it must not have hurt bad enough to stop eating them.....
